Heat & Glo Expands Heat Management Portfolio
Heat & Glo®, the long-established industry leader in design and innovative technology, is extending its industry-first heat management options to its Cosmo and SlimLine series of Direct Vent gas fireplaces.
The brand’s heat management portfolio features innovative technologies that give homeowners greater control of their space and the ability to truly customize their fireside experience, including:
- Heat-Zone® Making it possible to draw heat from the fireplace to another room in the home up to 20 feet away, Heat-Zone Technology can redirect up to 25 percent of the heat output and reduce wall temperatures above the fireplace. Two Heat-Zones run continuously can redirect up to 50 percent of the total heat.
- Heat Duct By redistributing the heat via furnace ductwork, Heat Duct brings the warmth of the fireplace to the rest of the home. Run continuously, Heat Duct Technology can redirect up to 25 percent of the heat to another area; two Heat Ducts can redirect up to 50 percent of the output.
- PowerFlow™ Heat Management Exclusive to the Heat & Glo PRIMO fireplace, industry-first PowerFlow Technology redirects the flow of heat, offering control of where it’s distributed – into the same room as the fireplace, into an adjacent room, or outside – at the flip of a switch. At the same time, it maintains safe outer glass and a cool wall, allowing for a TV or expensive artwork to safely hang directly above the fireplace, or any finishing material – even barnwood – to be used right up to the edge of the firebox for a custom look.
